If you have not heard about
us before or been on one of our workshops you will probably
have a lot of questions. We have answered the most common ones
below.
What do you

We offer transformational workshops
and coaching. We also sell books and CDs that support our coaching
methods. Click

Who are Chuck
and Lency Spezzano?
Lency Spezzano,
MSc.
Lency studied Rehabilitation Counseling
in the USA before designing and administering numerous rehabilitation
agencies, training programs and treatment facilities She
has been teaching her therapeutic approach in seminars internationally
since 1984. She is well recognised for her empathic healing
ability and techniques. Lency’s gentle yet dynamic
approach opens the heart, releases emotional and physical
constrictions, and reconnects others with the transformational
power of love, grace and joy. Her book Make Way for
Love was written with the intent to heal the reader’s
emotional dissociation.
Chuck Spezzano, Ph.D.
Chuck began his therapeutic work at Brashear Association,
Pittsburgh, USA in 1972 as a counselor and Director of
Outreach. From 1973 to 1979 he facilitated thousands of
therapy groups and individual sessions and developed a
workshop system for the drug rehabilitation unit to augment
group and individual therapy. He went on to practice marriage,
family and child counseling before leading workshops and
giving lectures in personal development training internationally.
Now an acclaimed author, Chuck has written many books and
card decks which have been published worldwide, including
the best selling If It Hurts, It Isn’t Love and The
Enlightenment Pack. Chuck’s intuition, compassion,
humour and powerful insights continue to help thousands
of people release old negative patterns and heal emotional
blockages in themselves and their families.
Is it religious?
Psychology of Vision
is a path of the heart and is unabashedly spiritual but in
no way is it setting itself up to replace any other belief
system. Its greatest power is as an adjunct to other spiritual
and religious practices. It does not set out to challenge
people’s beliefs, but it endeavours to teach tools
that give us a better understanding of the world we live
in and our ability to affect it.
What happens during
a workshop?
Workshops are a mixture of exercises
and explanation of healing principles. They are experiential
and process led. This means we do not follow a script or agenda.
The people present determine what happens on a workshop, so
each workshop is a unique healing experience.
At the start of a workshop it
may look as if everyone has a different story on the surface
but as we begin to look closer common treads will emerge. These
issues will be addressed with deep and powerful solutions.
Our tried and tested, step by step methods get to root causes
and resolve problems. All facilitators are trained to guide
the process of transformation for everyone present. We have
over 30 years of experience of working with these methods.
By attending a workshop you
can learn some of the most powerful secrets of transforming
your life and have a really good time in the process. You can
discover tools and techniques to get you through the grey days,
plus ideas and principles to lift you and your friends and
family to new levels of success and happiness.
Is it safe
and confidential?
Our trainers have each undergone
hundreds of days of training, working on themselves and with
others. They are experienced in providing a safe environment
for healing and transformation. They are also committed to
continuing their training by attending workshops and having
regular coaching sessions.
You can be assured of total
respect and complete privacy during and after a workshop, coaching
session or group meeting. This is something that we ask all
attendees to commit to at the start of each event.
Why not let
the past be?
Let us answer that with the
questions, Are you totally happy and fulfilled in your life?
Have you got absolutely everything you could possibly want?
Most of us grew up in less than
perfect environments so despite your carer’s best efforts,
you may have been hurt in some way. Our workshops offer an
opportunity to release past hurts with ease.
What have you got to lose?,
nothing except your past!
What if I
don’t like talking about personal things in front of
strangers?
We understand that it can be
quite daunting to talk about deep and painful experiences in
front of others. However, have you ever noticed that a complete
stranger on a bus or train can tell you their life story, even
though you have never spoken with them before? Sometimes the
company of strangers is less intimidating that speaking to
a friend.
Our facilitators are trained
to create a safe and confidential environment to allow you
to safely express yourself. If you do not wish to share your
experience then you will not be coerced to do so. It is up
to you to choose the extent to which you participate in the
workshop. The fact is you will get the healing and transformation
simply by being present in the room.
The power of the group accelerates
the transformation for everyone present.
You could also consider having
a coaching session, click here for more details.

What if I
can’t attend after booking a workshop?
It is our experience that workshop
attendees will often find for themselves reasons not to attend
one of our workshops after they have booked. It should be understood
that these events are powerful healing opportunities and that
the very fact you have booked on one is likely to bring up
fear and with it resistance.
Resistance can take many forms but the net outcome may well
be that you find yourself apparently unable or unwilling to
attend the workshop.
We recommend that if and when you find yourself experiencing
this fear and resistance you see it for what it really is and
remember that your goal when you booked was to create healing
for yourself. This commitment in itself is likely to bring
to your awareness your fear of your own spiritual progress
and success.
If, after considering this,
you still are unable to attend we will normally refund your
tuition fee less the deposit or 25% for administration costs.
Please contact us as soon as you know you cannot attend as
we may be able to fill your place from a waiting list.
Your
workshops cost a lot, what if I can't afford the cost of
a workshop? Are there concessions for low waged / unemployed
people?
We generally give 10% of places at
a concessionary rate, usually 50% of the door price. It
is not our policy to have people attending workshops who
have not contributed in some way.
Often we also have Earlybird discounts that offer a good
discount on the door price to assist those on a lower
income – see point 10 on the 'how we do business
page'.
Is there a minimum or maximum age?
No, it is never too late to
heal your past and you are never too young to create a better
future for yourself.
What if I
can’t attend all of the event?
We ask that when you book your
place that you commit to attending the entire event, for your
own sake and well as other as it can be disrupting to the group
otherwise.
What if I
can’t leave my family / can't get time off work?
We are confident that, as our
workshops are run at different times of the year, week and
for varying lengths you will find a time that suites you. If
not perhaps you could organise one for yourself and your friends
at a time that suits you. Please contact us on 01249 760486
or info@povuk.co.uk to
discuss this further.
It is possible to have 1:1 coaching
sessions with one of our trainers. Click
here to view each
trainers profile and contact details.
Also remember that attending
our workshops is an investment in living your life to the full.
Going to a workshop is a commitment to making changes, and
it requires boldness - and with boldness comes great reward.
Maybe your partner or workplace will react differently than
you expect. . . .
Do I need
to bring anything and what do I wear?
We suggest that you:
• Bring a notebook
and pen for your own use
• Bring bottled water, for drinking in the workshop itself. We ask you
not to bring other drinks and food into the workshop room, for the comfort
of all.
• Wear comfortable clothing
Do I need to do any preparation before
a workshop?
No you do not have to prepare
anything, just turn up. What we have found beneficial is that
you are aware of your feelings and experiences from a few days
before attending. Also during the workshop it helps to remember
why you decided to book. All this can enhance your healing
experience.
What if I
feel upset after a workshop, is there any support after a
workshop?
During a workshop it is likely
that you will have experienced some deep emotions. The process
of healing will carry on beyond the end of the workshop and
you may continue to feel different things.
Do not hesitate to talk your
feelings through. You will have been given a buddy for your
support during and after the workshop. Also the facilitator
will be available for follow up support after a workshop. Please
contact us if you would like to speak to the workshop facilitator.
What if I
don’t like the workshop?
If, after attending the entire
workshop, you are not completely satisfied we will refund your
tuition fee. `
