What We Give
We have put this page up to give people an
indication of our physical contributions to Linda Compound.
It is also important to point out that what we receive from
this does not show on a list of physical items and we do
consider our part of the relationship well within balance
and harmony.
Needless to say many of the POV community
give of their time and money and have also been lucky enough
to visit Linda Compound. This list is not complete as many
individuals give more.
On behalf of Vision Africa we donate monthly
the following to the Neighbourhood Health Committee for use
within
the community. These supplies are received by John Shawa:
1 x 1000 Paracetamol Tablets
1 x 1000 Septrin Tablets
1 x 1000 Amoxycillin Tablets
1 x 1000 Piriton Tablets
2 x Rolls of Cotton Wood
1 pkt x 15cm x 4.5 meters bandage
20 x 30 Electral Forte Dehydration
Treatment
1 x 50 pairs Surgical Gloves
3 tubes Antiseptic Ointment
30 Treatments of Malaria
1 x 5 litres Hospital Concentrate Disinfectant Solution
We also make a monthly donation to the Chilanga
Hospice and below is listed what we donate:
10 x 1000 boxes of Paracetamol
10 x 1000 boxes of Septrin
1 x 50 pairs Surgical Gloves
The cost of these donations
works out to
£160 each month and make an incredible difference in
the lives of many people. Again we would like to thank all
that
have made and continue to make donations.
